Meet Megan

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker
with twelve years of experience,
my priority is creating a safe space for you to share your story, learn new skills, and begin to heal past hurts and confront present challenges.

I earned my master’s degree in social work from New York University. I have extensive experience working with individuals living with mental health and substance use diagnoses, as well as those with lived experience in the criminal legal system. I specialize in working with adults and teens ages 15+ to address a variety of issues, including shame, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, poor boundaries, childhood trauma. I have a passion for working with individuals living with chronic pain and chronic illness, addressing the various challenges that go along with it - anger, loneliness, isolation, and grief.

I value bringing my authentic self into each session—how can I expect you to bring your whole self if I don’t do the same? Our work together is a collaboration and I will maintain a consistent curiosity about your life, encouraging you to examine your thoughts, feelings, and motivations with curiosity instead of judgment.

Outside of my work, I enjoy being outdoors—hiking, traveling, and adventuring with my partner and three rescue pups. I love cooking and trying new restaurants. I also like reading, pottery, and listening to my vinyls.
